How to use our online divorce services
It may seem obvious, but to use our services efficiently, you will need the following:
Almost all of our contact with you will be by email, and you may prefer other people not to have access to confidential communications of this nature. In particular, it would be advisable for your spouse not to have access to your password.
- A reliable postal address
We may need to post original documents to you, such as court papers with the official court seal.
You will need regular access to a computer, with an appropriate degree of privacy and password protection. If you intend to use your work PC, please consider your employer’s policies with regard to the personal use of company IT equipment.
At various stages of our services, you will need to download copies of court documents and letters (which we will prepare on your behalf) for you to sign and send to the court.
The documents we will send you will be provided in Adobe PDF format. You can download this software for free by clicking here.
We may need you to send us copies of certain documents, such as your Marriage Certificate. To avoid delay, we would prefer scanned versions, but we do accept photocopies by fax or by post.
When you register, you will need to create a username and password, the details of which you should keep to yourself. If necessary, you can change your password as often as you like.
Data Storage
We take your personal privacy very seriously indeed. Your personal information will not be visible to our administration team until such time as you place an order. If you do not login to our website for a period of six months without placing an order, your personal information will be automatically deleted. We will send you a notification email shortly before the expiry of this six month period. If you wish to extend your registration, simply login again and a fresh six month period will begin.
